Jul. 5th, 2012 06:17 amA few days ago I've looked through my gdocs in an attempt to organize it, and found the following:
1) 3 drafts for
dc_everafter; the one I ended up posting was "Out of the Sun", which was the fourth version.
- 1 dismissed because it was heading down the road of John/Castiel
- 1 dismissed because it was heading down the road of Sam/Castiel
- 1 dismissed because it was really, really bad.
2) An unfinished blindfold fill. Created on Jan 24 2011. Still unfinished - will try to get it done before 2013!
3) A start for a fic that doesn't make any sense, but I think it was supposed to be the start of a Sam/Castiel fic.
In other words, I've caught the spring cleaning bug with a slight delay.
How are you, flist? :) Is there anything interesting going on in your life?

opening rocksalt-recs!
Jun. 27th, 2012 12:23 amSetting it up was a few weeks well-spent, I'd say!

rocksalt_recs is a place to find and post recs, both for fpf and rpf: from the most populated areas of the Supernatural fandom, to the smallest and rarest of niches.
the rest of June is free reccing: anybody may post a rec without signing up.

May. 4th, 2011 08:50 pmGerman man trapped in women's prison rescued by mayor - heh.
I've managed to send in my big bang fic on time, but now I'm left with the task of editing it. I think I'm going to have to let it rest for a few days before I start working on making it readable...
In other words, hello, world!

Apr. 1st, 2011 07:37 pmMultishipping is hard work: In-between dealing with RL, my first attempt at writing my
dc_everafter ended up being John/Castiel. The second attempt ended up being both Sam/Castiel and/or Sam/Dean. I'm working on attempt number three now, and hoping it works out.
Alas, it's very unlikely I'll be able to post on my due date. =(
But as unkind as the past month has been ... Biorn's day was probably even worse, so there might be hope for me yet:

Mar. 2nd, 2011 05:01 amThe last couple of weeks have been an absolute killer, and I haven't felt like I could breathe until yesterday.
Haven't been doing a lot - or any, if I'm being honest - of writing, and I found that I miss it. Hopefully I'll have a new fic to post soon! =)
In the meantime, here's an article I found interesting: http://www.npr.org/blogs/krulwich/2011/03/01/134138005/cactus-walking-on-20-legs-found-in-china
... I always did like cactii. I wouldn't object to owning a walking one.

Jan. 18th, 2011 03:39 pmA parody based on the trailer for "Assassin's Creed: Brotherhood". Surprisingly appealing!
You can find the lyrics here.
(The day after my last post, I burnt the soup.)

Jan. 13th, 2011 02:31 pmAmazing. I am sitting here in front of blindfold, going starry-eyed at the prompts, and having difficulties what to write next! I guess that's the problem with too much choice - I'm unable to pick the thing that I want to write the most.
... now if only I had an OTP, I'm sure things would've been a little easier: instead of wanting to write everything I'd just have to choose from a pool of a third of them or so. Not like that would've been much help, though.
Back to browsing for me it is...

Jan. 10th, 2011 11:02 amIt is a sad day when you find yourself thinking, 'Vampires are to Supernatural is the same as Daleks are to Doctor Who!' and you can't see anything wrong with that thought.
... and also find yourself impressed that on rewatch, SPN is even angstier than on the first watch. There's got to be something wrong with that.
