German man trapped in women's prison rescued by mayor - heh.

I've managed to send in my big bang fic on time, but now I'm left with the task of editing it. I think I'm going to have to let it rest for a few days before I start working on making it readable...

In other words, hello, world!

The last thing Dean ever saw with his own two eyes was Castiel. )

Multishipping is hard work: In-between dealing with RL, my first attempt at writing my [livejournal.com profile] dc_everafter ended up being John/Castiel. The second attempt ended up being both Sam/Castiel and/or Sam/Dean. I'm working on attempt number three now, and hoping it works out.

Alas, it's very unlikely I'll be able to post on my due date. =(

But as unkind as the past month has been ... Biorn's day was probably even worse, so there might be hope for me yet:

Is there anybody on my flist who'd be willing (or interested) to beta a 2.6k long schmoopy Sam/Dean PWP for me?

evitably: ([from the ashes)
The last couple of weeks have been an absolute killer, and I haven't felt like I could breathe until yesterday.

Haven't been doing a lot - or any, if I'm being honest - of writing, and I found that I miss it. Hopefully I'll have a new fic to post soon! =)

In the meantime, here's an article I found interesting: http://www.npr.org/blogs/krulwich/2011/03/01/134138005/cactus-walking-on-20-legs-found-in-china

... I always did like cactii. I wouldn't object to owning a walking one.

Title: and you'll still follow
Rating: NC-17
Wordcount: ~4,950
Genre/pairings: ultimately, Sam/Dean. The road there is paved with Sam/Castiel. Mild implied Dean/Castiel.
Contents/warnings: Incest; slight breathplay, jealousy
Beta'd by: [livejournal.com profile] dragonspell, [livejournal.com profile] callowyn and [livejournal.com profile] sistabro. All remaining mistakes, and I'm sure there are a lot of those, are definitely of my own doing. Concrit welcome!
A/N: written for [livejournal.com profile] salt_burn_porn, to the prompt "flying lessons". I'll probably edit it further after I get some sleep.
Disclaimer: SPN and its characters do not belong to me.

Summary: It's not Castiel that Sam wants, not really.

Sam sees it. He sees it all, but not because he’s looking for it )
evitably: ([contrast)
I've just finished outlining one of my challenge fics, and I'm somewhat disappointed with the result. It was meant to be horror, not schmoop, but that seems to be the way it wants to go.
evitably: ([overwhelmed)
I've found myself getting intrigued by vidding - I think I'll try making something, somehow. Now I just need to discover how to actually do that!

In the past few days I've been laid up in bed due to back pains. It's all so very frustrating (and painful), but I did manage to get some fic reading done from before I was in fandom, and ended up with a couple of recs!

Veterans of the Psychic War by [livejournal.com profile] kalireynn and [livejournal.com profile] kellwyntar, J2 AU, NC-17, ~45k words.
At the most desperate moment in humanity's history, two men would face the battle. Jared Padalecki, a Psion whose power could only lead him to self-destruction alone in the face of the horrors of war, and Jensen Ackles, a Guardian fractured by his past.

Apart, they are broken and incomplete. Together, they just might save the world, and maybe even themselves.

Excellent relationship progression, and I enjoyed the way Jared and Jensen still maintained separate selves while very obviously belonging together.

Aero by [livejournal.com profile] setissma, J2 AU, NC-17, ~8k?
Dragonriders of Pern fusion. Jensen rides a green that goes into heat, Jared rides a bronze and is his wingleader. Lovely characterization. ♥

And finally, I'm thinking of playing here if my back lets me:

I hope you all are having a wonderful weekend!
evitably: ([come prepared)
A parody based on the trailer for "Assassin's Creed: Brotherhood". Surprisingly appealing!

You can find the lyrics here.

Inside: news on the radio about Lebanon's ex-government and political chaos.
Outside: somebody's car is stubbornly refusing to start. Driver, an advice: stop trying, you're eating at your battery and making it worse.

Earlier: hail.

I fear for tomorrow.
